Summary: While these people were very nice and shipped fast, the junk they delivered wouldn't be offered for free on Craig's List. There's no sound, everything is WAY outdated and the disc drive doesn't open, so you can't reinstall Windows or do ANYTHING. I know it was cheaper than new (I paid 164.44 total) but COME ON. The cords don't even fit the machines. I wouldn't GIVE this PC and monitor combination to anyone, much less charge them for it. Shame on JSM Computers.
Summary: The seller sent me a computer that I would not give away let alone make someone pay for. I needed a PC for some software for my daughters online classes and boy was this not a good idea. We have a new mac that was not compatible with the schools old software, so we just need something inexpensive to use with the software. Well you get what you pay for. The cd drive does not open and that is the only way to use the software.
Summary: The system looks like its from local library, and it's about 10 years old. The problem is that I had to send the computer back 3 times to get a computer that works but was not able to have a functional computer, now i have to go to unpleasant complaint process to get my money back. 1st one was power supply, then 2nd was CD rom, the 3rd was the parts were disintegrating, this is a computers going to junk yards, saved by your pocketbooks.
Summary: I work with software that needs 2G RAM, so I purchased this computer thinking it would work. But it could not handle the job. A buyer should limit usage of this computer to internet surfing only. This computer failed for me and I took it to the geek squad at Best Buy. They told me it was unfixable and that even if the machine worked it would have zero resale value for them. They took out the hard drive and showed me that it was actually set it place with scotch tape.
Summary: Got my computer, but it came with no mouse and no keyboard. I was looking forward to using it when it came at work, but disapointed that I can't use it until I get a mouse and keyboard. I was under the impression it came with them. Plus the monitor is ancient.
