Summary: I wanted a Win 7 system to replace an old Win XP box. This one worked great out of the box and even had Win Office Pro preloaded and active. The system was used so obviously your results may vary.
Summary: My old computer was about seven years old. It had gone through three fans, two power supplies, two video cards and two sound cards. When it started sounding like the end of the world, and I could hear it downstairs, I decided it needed replacing. Being retired, I no longer have a lot of money to spend on computers, so I decided to try a refurbished unit. I looked a lot of places and read a lot of reviews before choosing this Dell. Two reasons I chose the Dell from JSM.
Summary: This computer worked great for my grandpa. Easy setup, came with everything it listed and especially awesome hiccup free! Worth it and plus I was even able to pay myself by signing up to receive $60 Amazon cash to spend on myself.
Summary: The refurbisher went beyond a factory-reinstall, and updated all drivers, installed Avast anti-virus, and removed all expired "trial software". The machine we received was actually "plug-n-play" right out of the box - something I have never seen before in a Windows machine regardless of vendor - and a direct number to Support was included in the packaging. As one might expect, we did not need to use it.
Summary: Bought this from JSM Computers. 90 day warranty, and they will send you a call tag if it breaks, so shipping too is free. It is a small unit; just parked it on the corner of the desk. It's fast. Works perfect; couldn't ask for more. Would buy from them again.
Summary: I researched to find a computer to fit my needs, and the Optiplex 780 is a perfect fit for me. The smaller size is a space saver and I have it on my desk rather than at my feet - easier to use, easier to keep clean. I've always had Dells, and I wasn't disappointed. The quality is all I expected, and the performance is better than hoped for. I had used an XP for years, and the transition to the Optiplex was easy.
