Summary: The win Vista key is still on the machine. The license of win 7 is a referee license and not a full home license for some reason. Not sure if this is common or not so it isn't a con. This and I do not know if there is any type of limitation of feature due to it either.
Pros: Inside the case is very clean.
Cons: Dust was apparent on the front of the machine along with many scuff marks on the sides. Something that could have easily been taken care of before getting to me. Windows is not fully installed. I have to enter in the product key and do the first time setup myself. Windows update does not work at ...
Summary: The PC hard drive came with no cables and no speakers. Also, it was so old it doesn't have a HDMI port. Somehow the Windows Defender was off and I got a virus immediately. I called Tech support that was listed on a paper that came with the hard drive.
Summary: We loved this when we received it. Looked new. However there was problems within the 4th month and it was trashed within the 7th month. Thought we were saving money by going refurbished but instead wasted nearly $200
Summary: The PC came with a broken keyboard, and Staples would not send a new one or give us a credit for a new keyboard. They only offered to replace the PC, which would've meant waiting for a new one, which is not great for offering services to businesses.
Summary: Mea culpa: I did not do the usual pre-purchase research, plus this unit sis not come with the usual specs/user guide info. I run two monitors - not for gaming, but for research and design. Either runs VGA or HDMI, so I didn't expect a problem.
Summary: The system worked out in the end, but it was a lot of trouble getting there
Pros: Good specs for a very low price
Cons: 1st unit had no video output on arrival, ordered a replacement unit, it beeped when trying to boot up, removed 2GB RAM stick and it booted OK, but now had only 2GB RAM left--New egg gave me a $15 credit, which helped a little. Still 2 shipments, 2 bad problems.
