Summary: This particular PC consists of a dual core processor. However, as part of their service, it is upgraded to a quad core upon shipment. With the increase of "bloatware" products that consume huge amounts of processing power, this is just what is needed.
Summary: When I ordered this computer and looked at the Dell computer site this model could have been in several form factors. I was hoping for the larger form factor taking standard sided boards: as such, would have given it 5 stars. I I had a different purpose for the computer for it initially. I ended using it as a media pc. The smaller form factor worked well for that after adding additional cards and it worked better than the slower system I had in its place.
Summary: For $200, this machine works great. The internet cuts off after a while, which I suspect is a faulty Ethernet card but besides that, the machine runs great, plenty fast for surfing the web, checking emails and social media. I am thinking of buying another to make a linux box.
