Summary: The seller sent exactly what I asked for. The box was sealed from Dell. When I brought it up, it already had Win 7 loaded and an Administrator profile with no password. I tried all the standard passwords I knew, then decided to reload with the disk provided... except it had no DVD. I do not blame the seller for this, I just overlooked it as "normally" systems come with a DVD. Since I could not load the DVD, I dropped it on a flash drive and reloaded Win 7 from that.
Summary: Exactly as advertised, without any glitches. The computer was well packaged, delivered before the estimated date, installation was easy, everything is working well so far. The CPU is smaller and lighter than our previous computer, which is a welcome change.
Summary: Recieved PC only to find that it is the compact tower style, not the mini-tower as pictured. Has no internal bays. Trying to get an RMA but was told 2-5 business days to process. That seems a bit out of line but we will see.
Summary: I had recently been warned away from Dell's Optiplex line, even though I had great luck with the last generation of Optiplexes. None the less, these PC's were Surprisingly fast, well put together and the small form factor, the particular unit I purchases, is a very convenient size.
