Summary: I thought I was buying a clone to my Insipiron One THX. Trust Studio PC. But this one had an Intel Chip and Invidea graphics card, and the monitor was not good enough. I wanted a clone so I could make myself a working emergency backup computer.
Summary: I purchased this computer on sept. 2010, it worked perfect for about 3 years. On nov 2013 the computer just died, never came back from standby. No warning!!! Its been sitting there since that day. I'm planning to throw it to the trash but still waiting if there's any hope and I can save it.
Summary: Total garbage. Less than 2 years after getting it has finally gone to the pc graveyard...processor fried. While it was under warranty...motherboard replaced twice by Dell-in home warranty. The speakers went out...replaced by Dell. The daughter board shorted out...replaced by Dell.
Summary: My exwife and I bought one, each. Both motherboards went in the first year. Had it fixed, and now my hdd is bad and the cddvd r/rw is bad. I will NEVER NEVER buy a dell again! Vaio lasted 6 years, and gateway lasted 5.
Summary: Almost 4yrs later...I LOVE this computer. Many great features, some Im still learning, thanks to the kids. Very sturdy and easily managed by everyone in our household including my toddler. Awesome buy!
Summary: I received one of these that was "broken" for free off craigslist. I took some time reading reviews I always check amazon reviews prior to forums. What I found out was: the majority of these units haven't had the bios updated. they have a4 bios and need to be updated to a8.
Summary: This computer worked great until the Blue Screen of death appeared. I've only had it for 1 year 6 months and didn't extend the warranty because it is a desktop and I didn't figure anything could go wrong.
Summary: I think that this is a very sleek machine. The touch capability is nice but it is not completely accurate. My main issue with this computer is that it is slow for more advanced applications like Photoshop.
Summary: Dell has the worst support on the planet earth. I upgraded to windows 8 and this machine is worthless. I wish they would update their drivers before telling me it is fine to upgrade. Dell is becoming inferior in my opinion.
