  • Summary: When I first received it, there were a couple of problems that had to be resolved. I wound up having to purchase software warranty through Dell in order to get one of the problems fixed. I wasn't happy with this. Other than that, the computer works great now and I like all the new features on it.

Not an All-in-One

Steve0906, Dell
3 January 2014
  • Summary: While this unit is nice and has value it is NOT an All-In-One. An All-in-One implies everything this Inspiron 23 has AND a built-in DVD which this does not.

can't access any of my transferred files

Vicki7, Dell

  • Summary: I like the computer, the touch screen works alright. When I loaded windows 8 it crashed. I can't access any of the files that I transferred from my previous computer because of a group policy error.

Inspiron One 23 touchscreen

  • Summary: The computer is slower than what I would expect for the price. Also there is no manual so I had a hard time figuring out the features and still have not discovered all it has to offer. It does have a very nice screen and built in speakers which I like.

Nice AIO (... but with some issues!)

Anonymous, Dell
3 April 2013
  • Summary: I have waited a couple of months before reviewing this computer, to get some use out of it. It was initially very easy to get started, it practically jumped out of the box and set itself up. Just the one power cord, and Windows 8 pre installed. It looks very tidy and sleek on the desk, with the wireless mouse and keyboard and sturdy screen.

Touch Screen doesn't always work

BicBx, Dell
1 March 2013
  • Summary: I like the all-in-one concept, I like the design, I even like Windows 8. Everything seems to work fine, except the Touch Screen stops working at least once a week. I called Technical Support and they had me update a new BIOS. Then it worked fine, but now about once every two weeks, the touch screen no longer responds to touch. I have to "restart" for it to work again. To tell the truth, a touch screen on a 23" desktop is not really needed.

Except for Major Screen Issue, Excellent Computer

mtinhk, Dell
1 January 2013
  • Summary: Except for a major screen issue (see * at the end), this is an excellent AIO computer. Fast, stable, silent. Solid through and through. It looks elegant on the desk. Finishing is of high quality and the overall look is one of a sturdy yet elegant machine (keyboard and mouse aside, though this is easy to replace and does not bother me so much). I also appreciate the S/PDIF output, which enables me to stream Spotify directly to my Home Theater with outstanding quality.

Not what I expected to occur in one month

S E "SE", Amazon
6 December 2012
  • Summary: It crashed for no reason, after one month, & very little use. Dell first had this on record as more than a year old. when I finally showed them proof that I recently purchased it, Dell kept me on the phone for hours & wasn't able to repair it. I had to wipe the PC & waste hours reloading all of my programs. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Easy upgrade but screen a disappointment

NE100, Dell
5 November 2012
  • Summary: Purchased this (i5 processor and touchscreen) to replace a very aged xp desktop. The windows 8 upgrade went smoothly and I've had no technical issues so far (only been a few days).
