Summary: I have a failed Dell Inspiron 530. Foxconn motherboard G33M02. The motherboard is dead. No response to the power switch. Front power light is not on. Power supply green light and motherboard orange light are on. 5 volt standby is good. Searching the internet I discovered that this motherboard has a high failure rate and Dell offers no real help. I have not found anyone who has found the cause or devised a solution.

Summary: I have been using the same product since 2008. However, recently the motherboard was having some issues. I bought the used CPU from this seller and replace the mother board from this unit to mine. Hopefully I will use this machine another 3-4 years.
Summary: As one Reviewer stated; save your money and buy anything else. The Dell systems are ""Slow"". the hard drive goes very easily and the motherboard is very sensitive. I had a electrical power shut down by the utility company. The surge protector covered all my computers. The Dell junk power supply was not affected, but the hard drive went. Dell makes junk and charges more than is relevant for their systems.
Summary: I was looking for a replacement since my Dell that was damaged by lightning. This is the same model but not the same motherboard as mine so it won't work for that, however for the money it will be useful so I'm happy with my purchase. The seller was very good and replaced the monitor when it arrived damaged.

Summary: Alrighty, I've seen some reviews by alot of users, and I think it's about time I said something about it. For starters, I've had this computer for almost six years (since almost the first release of the model). It hasn't caused me much grief at all. The only issues I would say I had was that it's first OS was Vista (rectified this by buying Win 7 - Ult), the 512 MB of RAM (fixed this buy buying 4 x 1 GB of RAM), and (fairly recently) my HDD started to fail (A WD product...
