    This is a very good home system. It comes with the ATI 3450 HD display driver which is very weak and outdated before you get it out of the box. You can download the updated 3400 HD series device driver very easily. I am very happy with this system and it allows me to do everything I want to without any hassles. I love my new Dell 518.     having recently bought two of the 1gb memory cards to double the memory on my desktop pc, i was amazed at how much faster the pc now starts up and runs. buying the dell approved memory meant that even someone like me could just take the cover off and plug in the boards into the spare holes. the pc now shows the increased memory in my computer section. really worth paying just a little extra at dell.     My Dad (not very computer literate) has a new Dell Inspiron 518. If you can believe this.... he can't figure out how to open the DVD/CD drawer. Anyone out there know how to do this?

    There is a button on the front of the CPU that will open the DVD/CD

    It’s very easy. You just have to press your finger on the CD/DVD drawer until you hear a ‘click’ and then it will open. You can watch this video to help you:
