Summary: This was advertised that it ran fine but it doesn't. Videos are choppy and audio and video are not in sync. Music plays the same way most of the time also. Alot of files and shortcuts were left on the PC and I have been cleaning them off slowly. but it does work for Ebaying and that's why I bought so I can't complain too much.
Summary: I've had this computer for two years, and it has gotten VERY, VERY slow at startup, but it just needs a couple of minutes to "catch up." It's okay for doing small things, browsing the web, playing a little bit of games, but it is not the best thing for doing heavy duty things. I'd recommend getting more RAM for it and getting rid of paging file.

Excerpt: My Dell Optiplex computer is one of the best I have owned. I wish it could be a bit faster but since I am computer challenged I may not be aware of what can be done to increase speed. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it but I am always looking for something better. I do not do anything that requires much but what I do attempt should be with speed and reliability.
The Dell Optiplex GX620 is one of the best and most dependable.

Excerpt: not a bad system for a novice or a beginner. needs to have a bigger harddrive and a lot more memory gets slower and slower day to day other than that no major issues with this system could use a card reader or a floppy drive but you get what you pay for i have used many different dell computers before and the optiplex is a good tower for most any style user can be easily upgraded memory, harddrive, are simple upgrades.
Excerpt: I purchased my Dell Optiplex desktop computer about 5 years ago and it is still going strong. Back when I purchased my Dell the prices were very reasonable, I think I paid a little over five hundred dollars without the monitor. I think the prices are still pretty good if you already have a flat screen monitor that you can reuse with a new system rather than purchasing a new monitor. Also, I already had speakers so I didn’t have to purchase those extra as well.
The Optiplex GX260 is great for normal everyday PC use.

Excerpt: The Dell Optiplex GX260 is just another good quality PC that is great for all kinds of users. Whether you are just getting started with computers and have no skill in it what so ever, or if you are a person who has mastered the arts of technology and in need of purchasing a new computer, then the Optiplex is just right for you! I have used the Optiplex GX260 for many years and I have only ran into two problems; one of which was my fault and the other easy to fix.
Excerpt: The Dell Optiplex GX260 is a basic desktop computer for ordinary office work. It can be slow, although this could be due to the network it is on, rather than the PC itself. The one I have sometimes crashes bacause of some driver issue. When I reboot it always comes back to life. The footprint is what you would expect for a desktop that is not a tower. It basically serves as a stand for the monitor.
