Summary: I chose 5 stars because this is the best desktop computer I have used. Windows 8 is fine once you get used to it. Plenty of memory for pics, videos, games etc. You might want to pick up a graphics card if your downloading a game like Planetside 2. Great for everyday home use. Large HD screen, no tower (hence the "all-in-one" title), wireless keyboard and mouse. Plenty of USB ports, headphone, microphone, SD card and Ethernet ports. Just all around well performing pc.
Summary: After my dinosaur of a desktop. Finally crashed and burned after many years of service, I broke open the Consumer Reports to do some research about today's options. Laptops do not cut it for me. My fingers are too big for those tiny keys. But I didn't want a clunky desk top either. I have an iPad and love that for surfing etc. what I needed was something that would provide an economic option for word processing, business applications and the like.
Summary: Love that asus put usb ports on the side for mouse receiver now back ports are free. Card reader also in perfect place so i don't have to turn pc around its right on the side. terra bit hard drive will never get filled.
Summary: The computer is compact and uses minimum wiring which was such a mess. The screen is wide and bright and color perfect. The USB ports on the side a easy to access. I am not using the wireless mouse because I need a ball one, but it was easy enough to switch. Once the programs and my data was up loaded it has been a pleasure to use.
Summary: I thought this AIO PC was about the best price for the features I wanted. This has a standard LCD screen, not a touchscreen, but personally I really have no vision for why I'd want a touchscreen on my desktop PC (I'd buy a tablet instead). Pros: 1) Fast 2) Screen is about right for working on a desk.
Summary: I am an IT professional and was scouting to find a good All-in-one for my personal use, knowing what to look for in a computer I found that there were/are many good brands that have good processors, screen resolution,UI devices etc. I work on a Dell at work, have Acer laptop and my wife uses our Sony vaio all-in-one. I zeroed in on this ASUS after a lot of research both in terms of technical details and price and I am not disappointed.
