Summary: Purchased this ASUS EB1501P nettop February of 2012 and it's dead already (October 2012). Cannot get the display to come on through either the VGA 15pin or the HDMI connectors. Good thing I regularly backed it up with an external HDD. Performance was not great anyway.
Horrible picture quality and struggled to play basic online video

Summary: Couldn't play YouTube or Netflix without hanging up, and it touts that it's all about multimedia and HD 1080 full entertainment. This little thing should only be used for a teenager needing Microsoft Word for writing papers. I returned it... need I say more?
Summary: This is a great computer for the garage or to have for web browsing/youtube/music on your living room TV. The included remote is a plus for media center. It's not the fastest computer and I would recommend upgrading at least the RAM on it to make it a bit faster.
Okay for web browsing; not good for streaming video

Summary: I purchased this EeeBox PC hoping it would have enough power to stream HD video off the Internet. My hopes were shattered after attempting to watch videos off abc.com or Netflix. The Windows experience is only rated at 3.9 and that's from the processor.
Summary: I bought the Asus 1501N a year ago to be a Home Theater PC and replace my Comcast Cable. We cut the cable and use Windows Media Center with over the air. This thing plays video without any pauses or slowness.
Summary: Bought a pair of AUSA computers 2 years ago. Both now dead from constant overheating (even at 50 degree room temp). Customer support useless/non-existant. I would never buy an AUSA product again.
Summary: Another great ASUS product, runs quiet and cool; great choice for tight spaces withouot sacrificing performance. The processor works fine in multitasking, the nvidia ION is a good addition. I recommend it absolutely.
Summary: I was very happy with the 2 units that I purchased last year to attach to our two TVs. While definitely slow for video encoding, that's not what they're built for. They show DVDs well and can handle most downloaded video fine.
Summary: PLEASE READ THE TITLE AGAIN. A nettop isn't for surfing the net with 10 movies loading in the background. The nettop is a streaming device idealy. A home network should be setup and your PC should be the work horse not your nettop.
