Summary: The seller say is the latest iMac in the market when in fact is two models behind. It is actually the FAT one with DVD which the seller coincidently "forgets" to mention. A USED COMPUTER which is WAY OVER THE PRICE over a refurbished newer slim iMac directly from Apple and with one year warranty. I hate when people try to mislead others to benefit themselves by not telling the truth.
Summary: The difference between this late model 2012 iMac and the newer 2013 models is very slim. The CPU performance difference isn't huge, and they look EXACTLY the same. The WiFi connectivity on the 2013 models is newer and a higher speed, but unless you have the same technology in your WiFi router it won't matter. Plus, most home users are not paying for download speeds the new technology is capable of producing.
Summary: This is a great computer. I switched from Windows and couldn't be happier. I thought the switch was going to be harder than it was. I will be using Mac's from now on. I love the size of the screen on this iMac. I use my iPad when i travel and have not missed my laptop. I would recommend this computer to anyone wanting a desktop computer.
Summary: Prior to purchasing this product I had the mid 2010 iMac, and it surpassed my expectations, just as this one has. I think primarily the biggest benefit is the heat disposition as the latter could undeniably heat a room well beyond a sauna's capability. The design is very modern and sleek, and the i5 is fairly quick. I'm not rendering video so for everyday use along with minor gaming - this machine is perfect.
