False advertisement

Paul Wade, Amazon
18 August 2013
  • Summary: I did not receive a monitor with the computer as was shown in the advertisement I saw. I contacted the seller and was told they did not furnish that ad; it was placed by amazon Such a display as I relied on to place my order is false advertisement.

Santee Markeith Robinson III, Amazon

  • Summary: The condition of the computer was great but it was not a current model so i have to buy two system updates. I guess the price is right for an Mac computer though. FYI it did not come keyboard, mouse or screen.

Luck of the draw

Wm, Amazon
3 August 2012
  • Summary: This was the first of two I bought from the same vendor. This displayed reluctance to start from the first, and now, August 3rd, it would not start at all. When it worked it was superb, it has turned me from a thirty year PC person, into from mow on Mac person, which is why I bought the second.

first try

fixer, Amazon
24 April 2012
  • Summary: The seller didn't supply all that was advertised. After contacting them and waiting for additional shipping, my keyboard and mouse arrived. They sent a used Dell keyboard and mouse (not Apple equipment) that I trashed and replaced. The software is outdated and it cost almost as much as the Mac to replace. This is my first Mac so I didn't know enough about the software to tell that it wasn't a low cost upgrade but required a full replacement (Leopard).

I would probably but it again but at a lower bid.

jmfielden-us, Ebay
8 February 2012
  • Summary: I bought it as a backup to my current system. Although the computer works well, its case was in much worse shape than I thought from all descriptions. I would probably buy it again but at a lower bid.

No AIRPORT in the computer.

dnel4863, Ebay
10 July 2010
  • Summary: I decided to buy this product because I needed to upgrade from the g4 powermac that I had, and so I did. The only problem I have is that the computer does not have an airport. This problem is preventing me from going online to register my software and equipment.I really want to give fives across the board but I cannot because I now have a 5 hundred dollar computer that I cannot use because of the airport being removed.

Owning a Bentley

irclostboy, Ebay
22 March 2010
  • Summary: lld about the G5: quieter than the g4 which is great in the studio, and from experience much faster on processing. I had to do some parts replacement, so modifying the system for better performance was necessary. Since you cannot speak on the sale in this panel I'll leave that to your imagination. one thing i will say before closing... apple needs to make obtaining the video card for these machines... more easily available.

First time Mac owner

Lefty in Seattle "dedicated AMZN customer sin..., Amazon
28 May 2006
  • Summary: This is my first Mac after owning PC's for almost 20 years. (my first PC was an AT&T 8088 processor). Although I choked on the price, I was very excited at what I beleived Mac had to offer -- primarily an integrated operating system that many said would never crash. I'm impressed with the design, styling and the ease and speed of the digital storage and editing (both still and video).

Mid-Low end PowerMac with crippling

K. Keefer "Who?", Amazon
1 April 2005
  • Summary: Let me say first that I love Macintosh. I do not always appreciate the antics of the marketing department at Apple Computer. As a content creator, I frequently need PCI slots for the specialized cards that allow high quality audio and video i/o, so I am looking only at Power Macintosh computers (not iBook, Powerbook, iMac, eMac, etc.). I find myself greedy for speed and lacking in cash.
