Summary: I ordered it from XSFORU. The delivery was pretty quick but when I received it as soon as I took it out of the box I heard rattling inside the computer. Sounded like a loose part!! There were quite a bunch of scuffs as well on it...more than what I was expecting from a "refurbished" one. More like used and in okay condition I would say. Anyways, I did not even risk using it and contacted the seller to return it. I will update this depending on what reply I get....
Summary: The order took a long time to arrive. Once it arrived I discovered that it wasn't the model of Mac Mini that was advertised and ordered. I had ordered an Intel based Mac Mini. I received a PowerPC Mac Mini, which is an older, slower model, that isn't compatible with Snow Leopard, or any of the newer Mac operating systems. I was very disappointed. Then, to make matters worse, I had to pay to have it shipped back to the vendor. Yuck!!!
Summary: This model was released in October 2012, over a year ago. In that time, the price has stayed exactly the same, and the specs have remained identical. This computer may have been a good value when it was released, but it no longer is. I would not purchase any Mac Mini right now; I would wait until a new version is released. If past history is any indication, it will carry the same price tag but will have upgraded specs.
Summary: So I have two macs at home, one for me and my wife and another one for the kids (8 & 10). Theirs did not work anymore so I decided to buy a not so expensive mac and got me this model... I started reading about refurbished and I look like EZCORP was doing a good job with their used macs market. I read the reviews and most of them were OK except for a couple rating with 1 star that stated clearly that their macs worked for a month or so and did not work anymore.
Summary: Old Apple Hardware, in this case a G4 Mini Mac, lasted about a month before failing. Apple(the Company), will not get anywhere close to this old stuff, so it up to you to find an authorized Apple Repair Center. You will find out that the price of repair is far more than what the value of the hardware is worth. Out the money, my time but I still have a "door stop".
