  • Excerpt: C'est l'heure du test, on déballe l' iMac d' Apple . Première surprise la boîte n'est pas si remplie, quoi que. On y trouve une boîte contenant le clavier Bluetooth, la magic mouse et CD d'installation et manuels. Il ne reste plus que l'iMac à sortir et l'unique câble fournis, celui de l'alimentation. Première chose : bien qu'il s'agisse d'un écran de 21,5 pouces, cet iMac reste imposant (45,8 x 52,8 x 18,85 cm). Mais il reste aussi réussi que les précédents.
  • Pros: qualité de fabrication, performance, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, connectivité sans fil, qualité de l'écran, prix, le clavier, les fonctions de la souris, tout en un, capteur de lumière.

  • Conclusion: La iMac 21.5-inch (Core 2 Duo) de Apple, la hermana menor de la iMac de 27 pulgadas, es $500 USD menos caras pero tiene gran parte de la misma capacidad. Cae fácilmente en el nicho de las nettops baratas y las PC con funcionalidad HDTV: es la PC multimedia que hay que comprar si necesitas buen desempeño y más características que pantallas táctiles y entradas HDTV.
  • Pros: Compacta. Tiene una pantalla HD 1080p. Teclado inalámbrico. Magic Mouse inalámbrico. EPEAT Gold, RoHS y Energy Star 5.0. Desempeño multimedia. Windows 7 compatible en Boot Camp.
  • Cons: El lector de tarjetas multimedia sólo es SD. No cuenta con opción de Blu-ray ni eSATA.
