Summary: I am two weeks into using this computer and it is fantastic. I purchased the 3 year protection plan (thanks to another reviewer) because I bought the refurbished Acer which is a no-brainer as well. I think its hard to find a three year guarantee, a 23 in touch screen monitor, i3 processor, all for under $515.00. The screen is huge and thanks to all the tablets, I use the touch screen much more than I thought I would.
Summary: I'm glad Wal-Mart is in the business of selling refurbished products! They already provide the best value in a great majority of their new products. Adding refurbished products saves their customers even more money and is sold and backed by a trusted retailer! As you can probably tell, I'm pleased with my purchase. This all-in-one computer has a big 23 inch, 10 point touch screen which is normally in the more expensive computers. Good processor, memory and hard drive.
Summary: My original desktop of 8 years finally went. I wanted to get a touchscreen and was really excited about windows 8 even though it had some bad reviews. I was thinking of a tablet pc(Microsoft RT) but my husband was not keen on the small screens. So glad we decided to get this instead. I love new technology so learning it I thought would be fun. Turns out it's a blast so far. Have only had this for about 3 weeks and so far loving it. So much more to discover.
Summary: I original saw this computer on a home shopping network on TV for $799. So I was going to purchase it with a flex pay but then I decided to do a little more research. I found this! First off, the other reviews are highly recommended and this had everything I was looking for. I also got a discount for signing up for a Walmart card and received in 3 days! I have six months of interest free payments and I was thrilled.
Summary: Only drawback is the preloaded security software does not allow for enabling Windows Defender. It is almost impossible to uninstall software in order to enable windows defender. According to blogs, others have not had success in doing so. It's like you are forced to buy security software preventing you from getting the free Microsoft version. In addition, there are tons of preloaded junk apps. That said, the computer is otherwise great.
