Summary: Bought this item 1 year ago and after 9 months of careful use the motherboard failed and now I have to find parts for a computer that no is longer made. It's been a real problem. Otherwise it was good for my home use and worked fast for me. However, I'm left with the impression it's not well made.
Summary: The computer has 4 video outputs... 2 are disabled.. and in order to output to multiple displays you have to remove the wireless modem and install the extra VGA cable (comes in the box). You have to plug it into the Nvidia card.
Summary: This computer was fine -- till it fell over few times. It's not built so it's safe as it stands. You just barely bump it, and over it goes. Now it wont send a signal to the monitor. Im sure it's doing great computer stuff -- you just can't blooming see it. Dont buy this monster.
Summary: I bought this as a refurb for $300. Three VERY important things to perhaps save you a lot of time and grief. 1. Mine did not come with a dvi to vga adapter. This item is a must to set it up with your computer monitor as Acer had disabled the VGA port on the back of the computer.
Summary: Acer has to be the WORST brand ever. If Goldstar made computers, they would probably be better. I actually created restore disks only to not have them work when I needed them. I would steer clear of this crappy Chinese/Taiwanese crappity crap crap. And -that's- the poop on this company!
Summary: A warning to anyone thinking about purchasing an Acer. There is no way to contact Acer other than their outsourced tech support. My desktop's motherboard failed under warranty, I took it to a repair shop to get it assessed, a few days later I was told my motherboard had failed.
Summary: I would have given only three stars but I thought that unfair because the only computer I feel is really worth buying is a MAC. Still for the money, this one is not bad. I bought it for my son. He's a musician and uses it mostly for recording.
