Summary: I really like this little machine. It's not terribly fast, but it's still quite capable. After uninstalling all the Acer stuff and most of the Windows 8 apps, and after turning off extra Windows 8 animations, and it works very well.
Summary: The computer has a small form factor as well as the ability to connect to HD televisions through HDMI. It's great as HTPC and it can play some light games. I occasionally play League of Legends on this computer, and I can get frame rates up to 60 with a drop to about 45 on all the settings on low.
Summary: This by far was the best upgrade that I have ever been through. It took less than a hour to get my Revo hooked up to my HDTV & to be up & running. There was no hassle getting Google Chrome up as my home page, & the tiles are very easy to navigate.
Summary: When I bought this computer I didn't expect much, but when I received it I immediately installed the extra 2gb ram and started using it and it shocked me for how good it was. I mean it really wasn't bad at all and windows 8 only took me 2 weeks to get used to it.
Summary: I have this for about 9 months now and it is really good for HTPC. Just add a TV tuner into the USB and you got a PVR with the Windows media center that came pre-installed. I use the included windows movie maker to edit out commercials to archive it.
Summary: These puppies are great. I do part time IT work for friends and have installed a dozen now at law offices. Bloatware is a particular hindrance to these machines because they aren't super strong. With all the acer apps off however they run a bunch of productivity programs at the same time nicely.
Summary: I don't really like the windows 8 environment but over all it is a good and sleek looking machine. I have it on top of my entertainment center and connected to my TV and I use it to watch HULU and Netflix
