Nice Little Box

Ryan Williams, Amazon
4 December 2013
  • Summary: I really like this little machine. It's not terribly fast, but it's still quite capable. After uninstalling all the Acer stuff and most of the Windows 8 apps, and after turning off extra Windows 8 animations, and it works very well.

Small and Powerful

soundwav2010, Amazon
1 October 2013
  • Summary: The computer has a small form factor as well as the ability to connect to HD televisions through HDMI. It's great as HTPC and it can play some light games. I occasionally play League of Legends on this computer, and I can get frame rates up to 60 with a drop to about 45 on all the settings on low. Other than that I use it mainly for streaming videos on the big screen.

Media PC Ease!

charles, Amazon
17 July 2013
  • Summary: This by far was the best upgrade that I have ever been through. It took less than a hour to get my Revo hooked up to my HDTV & to be up & running. There was no hassle getting Google Chrome up as my home page, & the tiles are very easy to navigate. Come's with a two month free subscription to McAfee Internet Security Suite. This is a great PC for media,& some light gaming. As of this date 8/22/13 I have had to refresh my PC twice. The PC is fine, the problem is Windows 8.

great computer

crmxl, Amazon
23 May 2013
  • Summary: When I bought this computer I didn't expect much, but when I received it I immediately installed the extra 2gb ram and started using it and it shocked me for how good it was. I mean it really wasn't bad at all and windows 8 only took me 2 weeks to get used to it. The whole package was just not what I expected, it was even better and I play my games on the highest graphics it can go and it won't let up. this is one of the best and cheapest desktop replacement I got.

Awesome HTPC

W. Lo, Amazon
20 May 2013
  • Summary: I have this for about 9 months now and it is really good for HTPC. Just add a TV tuner into the USB and you got a PVR with the Windows media center that came pre-installed. I use the included windows movie maker to edit out commercials to archive it. Nice touch with wireless keyboard, mouse, and TV controller included. Unit runs real quiet and low power. The wireless in the unit is a 2x2 and I can stream 1080 HD files from my NAS somewhere else in the house.

take the bloatware off and fly

Vincent Gagné, Amazon
15 May 2013
  • Summary: These puppies are great. I do part time IT work for friends and have installed a dozen now at law offices. Bloatware is a particular hindrance to these machines because they aren't super strong. With all the acer apps off however they run a bunch of productivity programs at the same time nicely. The biggest advantage is the bracket that will let you mount it on a vesa screen or anywhere else. Making desks nice and clutter free.

Nice looking

REZA, Amazon
9 March 2013
  • Summary: I don't really like the windows 8 environment but over all it is a good and sleek looking machine. I have it on top of my entertainment center and connected to my TV and I use it to watch HULU and Netflix

Great HTPC

Jimbo, Amazon
20 February 2013
  • Summary: This is a nice quality HTPC. Spec's aren't that impressive, but it works fine for streaming movies. I did as another reviewer said: 1. Increase RAM to 4GB. The unit comes with 2GB and another 2GB is normally under $20 2. Go into BIOS and change memory buffer from AUTO to 512 (very important) 3. Delete the McAfee anti virus, and replace with Avast or Microsoft Security Resources. McAfee is a system hog and I can't see why anyone uses this garbage anyway.

Nicely Designed

yasser k hamed, Amazon
16 February 2013
  • Summary: Overall very good design, I knew that 2Gb was not going to be enough, I did some research before I bought it and got to know that I can install up to 8Gb RAM even though it does not say it supports it. I have it up and running after instaslling the 8GB RAM. Very Nice, perfect for entertainment center.
