Good price

Krister Andersen, Amazon

  • Summary: Windows Vista runs like a tortoise - redefining the meaning of slow. Linux however brings new life to this machine giving it purpose. Works great when running XBMC and plays 1080 content - which is a great plus.

  • Summary: I bought this as a media machine for use with the television and it seems to be adequate for the job. The processor struggles with HD filmes unless you use the hardware acceleration with the NIVEDA Chipset.

Small, quiet but underpowered

Amandeep S Madra, Amazon

  • Summary: Describing itself as a net-top computer it does that task perfectly well. It's perfect for running windows explorer to surf the web. It is however underpowered for any other use and painfully slow - even the boot up sequence takes over two minutes.

  • Summary: I got this for my mum and have installed Windows 7 on it as is much better than the Vista OS supplied. All drivers are found but you will have to download the latest ION drivers from NVidia. Overall this unit is very small, sleek and silent. But underpowered.

Pretty good as a media PC

shteve, Amazon
23 July 2009
  • Summary: Mine works a treat with Windows Media Classic for all my xvids, MKVs and Blu-Ray (Band of Brother's looks lovely). The only downside I've found is the lack of optical out, so I bought a USB soundcard to use instead of the default.
