A great PC that offers a lot for its price tag. Simple, Sleek and stylish, a big A+ from me.

  • Excerpt: The Acer Aspire Revo R3600. Those who have read my previous reviews know I like to stream media to my television. I used to do this via a WD HDTV steamer (non live version) I had the idea though that it would be pretty cool to be able to have the whole internet on the television.

Cracking machine, crazy price!

Big Ben "fly_mo", Amazon
20 June 2010
  • Summary: As I write this, the REVO 3600 is being offered here at over 240 quid. This is seriously expensive for this single-core version, and pricey for the dual-core REVO 3610. We have both of these, and the 3600 struggles with WinXP - after suitable and necessary protection (AntiVirus, proper firewall,...

Excellent!

K. Ronan, Amazon
2 May 2010
  • Summary: Bought this two weeks ago after much deliberation on whether it would be up to the job of a day to day PC. Well, what can I say; this really is an impressive piece of kit, so much so, I'm probably going to get another one!

  • Summary: as a rule i do not write any reviews, but i wanted to tell everyone what a terrific item this is. like most people i thought the atom processor would not be up to much, but i was surprised. first of all i agree with an earlier review to get the best from this you must remove mcafee protection.

Good price

Krister Andersen, Amazon
30 March 2010
  • Summary: Windows Vista runs like a tortoise - redefining the meaning of slow. Linux however brings new life to this machine giving it purpose. Works great when running XBMC and plays 1080 content - which is a great plus.

Excellent media PC

Ian_M, Amazon
7 January 2010
  • Summary: Great value product. With Vista loaded it is very slow, but now I have loaded Windows 7 it is a very different machine, very useable. Playback of HD video is fine apart from BBC iplayer, but that is an issue with Adobe Flash drivers and the new driver should fix that.

Acer Aspire

Ms. Rachel J. Carter, Amazon
28 December 2009
  • Summary: I didn't believe that this tiny box could do everything a desktop could until I tried it! It is so easy to set up, much less hassle than a desktop tower, and you just plug in and go! It runs very efficiently, and is so much easier to find space for.

Revo R3600

Mr. A. P. Ramsden, Amazon
16 December 2009
  • Summary: The Revo R3600 is a really good nettop PC for running software like Microsoft Works 2007, the only downside is that it is really slow when surfing the web.

Ideal media centre PC - especially the price

N. Rose, Amazon
10 December 2009
  • Summary: I am really pleased with this computer. It's a doddle to set up, sits out of sight behind by TV and is so quiet. To get the best out of it, remove all the unnecessary software which comes with it (especially McAfee).
