Summary: I've had this dehumidifier on my boat in a saltwater environment for over a year now. I leave my boat sometimes for months at a time and when I come back the unit is still running despite power outages that the marina commonly has. The boat is dryer and cuts down on my maintenance.
Summary: I have used this dehumidifier for the entire summer in Alabama where the humidity is very high. It worked great, it takes am amazing amount of water out of the air. The negative about it is that it is loud and it puts out heat, I have to have the TV on very loud and the air conditioner on a lower...
Summary: First, after I ordered the unit, I learned it had been discontinued by the manufacturer and replaced with a newer model. Second, It may be too small for my needs. The descriptions in the displays do not adequately indicate what sized machine is needed for the circumstances in question.
Summary: Took care of the moisture in the basement. Every morning I would smell an odor at the top of the lower level stairs -- mold. Never saw it but you could smell it. No more. yes -- if its in a room with a tv you may want to turn it off. but its not loud.
Summary: Probably, it is bit small for a 1,500 sqft basement, but it works well. I had it about two months and didn't notice any issue. So, only the time could tell. I am hoping it would last more than my previous one which was 7 years.
Summary: This product is so good that I have to empty it about every 12-18 hours. I don't have the drainage option for continuous drainage and want to reuse the water, so I empty it frequently. It's just the right size for me to be able to move without much difficulty.
