Summary: Junk. Compressor broke after less than two summers' use. Warranty is one year, after that, the second year of warranty, it costs more to repair than to purchase a new one. You will probably get longer use from other manufacturers, up to 4 years or so is the best I have done.
Summary: This piece of junk lasted a little over 1 year. DO NOT BUY! I think it has parts made in Mexico or China. If you want a unit that runs continuously making a lot of noise so you can't hear the TV and NOT collecting one drop of water then go ahead and buy it. Everything is made of plastic and It probably has components built to last the 1 year warranty. When is America going to wake up and start producing quality made products in this country again and bring jobs back?
Summary: I just bought a frigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier. I have owned two before both LG. Both stopped working after two years. I plugged in the Frigidaire and put the setting to 50%. I took two hours to go from 75% to 50% taking out humidy immediately. And very very quite from a noise perspective. Hardly could hear it in the other room with the door closed. I paid $189 and the best buy yet. Works great and quite. I would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: This unit worked GREAT during the full warranty (parts & labor) period of 1 year. When the warranty expired, so did this unit. The fan runs making it seem like it works but does nothing except run your electric bill up. This unit should be rated negative (-)5 stars. I would only recommend this unit to my worst enemy.
Summary: I had a flood in my basement because my sump pump had stopped working so naturally had a lot of humidity thgouth the house. I went to Home Depot and bought a dehumidifier, they only had one to choose from, brought it home and after running for a 24 hour period, got about 1 tablespoon of water. Naturally took it back to the store, went on line to read reviews on what to purchase and ended up with this one and it has really done a great job. Great purchase.
Summary: The customer reviews I read said it was noisy; but it isn't bad--especially since I run it in the basement and live mostly a floor above it. A common complaint was that the bucket is hard to empty, so I filed of parts of the catch, making it easier to open. I also empty the bucket each morning and evening, which means that it is easier to empty because it isn't very full.
Summary: i had similar problems w/ this as earlier reviewer did. it turned off and on continuously. now it just doesn't work. it will run, but collects no water. we bought it six mos ago. it's under a 1 year warranty, but good luck finding someone who will repair it - no one seems to service dehumidifiers. so i'm buying a new one and it won't be a frigidaire.
Dehumidifier that solved our musty basement problem

Summary: We have 970 sq ft basement with poor ventilation. Our sump pump runs over 11 months of the year and hence there is always a water source for moisture in the basement. Over time a musty smell verging on mold was present in basement. We had the basement professionally treated for any possible mold and ran a huge air scrubber for 2 weeks (very loud). The smell was gone and we could re-use our basement.
Summary: It is an amazing dehumidifer however I find it difficult, with replacement knees in both legs, to remove the bucket. I just don't have the leverage and must wait for someone to help me. A handle on the outside would be helpful.
A great dehumidifier but it is louder than I expected

Summary: This unit is well built and really does a great job. It reduces the humidity in my bathroom from 70 percent down to 35 percent within 15 to 20 minutes after taking a shower. It has eliminated the fogging of my mirrors and condensation buildup on my windows even on cold days. The casters make it easy to roll around from room to room. The digital display displays the humidity in 5 percent increments.
