Summary: Excellent dehumidifier, energy star rated (the lights don't flicker as with our older unit), hose and pump features and all attachments included. Free shipping to my home - great! Arrived on time, easy to set up, and this unit is keeping our lower level comfortable and protecting our belongings with the lower humidity.
Summary: Received a model different than the one described. Despite the item description and customer questions confirming that this is the DDR60A3GP ("with integrated pump that can drain condensate vertically if needed"), the item received was the cheaper DDR60A2GP, which does not have a pump.
Summary: When I received the dehumidifier the box was in good shape. The dehumidifier it self was packed very well. I have had this for 1 week and have had no issues. I use it for my basement which is 1400 sq. feet. It operates very quietly for being in my basement. I started out just turning it on and letting it run for a while. Then I attached the continuous drain with the pump and also have no issues.
Summary: I have a sizable basement (over 2000 sq. ft.) and so far in the first week this dehumidifier is working very well. The humidity level went from 70% to 55% in the first two days and I have yet to hook up the continuous drain. Very easy to set up and start and I can not hear the unit when I am upstairs. Very good performance - so far.
Summary: Danby Premiere DDR6009REE 60 pint dehumidifier. Worked OK for two summers as a basement dehumidifier, but slowly lost its refrigerant charge. A slow refrigerant leak is insidious in that the unit will progressively spend more and more of its time cycling between "frosting up" and defrosting with less and less time dehumidifying. This can happen over a long period of time, slowly becoming less and less efficient but costing more and more money to run.
