Summary: This was a Christmas present and my mom LOVES it. She loves being able to fry 2 things a once. Obviously, if you are frying fish in one side and fries in the other, you might get a little fishy taste transfer. But you're eating it all anyways! She had one with a drop in basket before and it was so bulky. This is perfect. Rubber top and boom, you're set to store. It was a great present!
Summary: Love this fryer! It's my second time buying it! No problem from the last one, just moved and didn't feel like taking to time to clean up all the oil so I could pack it away so I gave it to a neighbor that needed one and bought a new one when I got to my new place! It has room enough to fry 5-6 chicken thighs at the same time, or with the divider, you can fry 2 or 3 pieces and french fries all at the same time! Will definitely buy again if I have a need!
Summary: I ordered this because my old Presto Fry Daddy was my favorite until it finally gave up the ghost. I used other deep fryers with lids and temperature controls and they were not suitable for quick frying like wingettes, nuggets chicken strips, and fries. If you are frying thicker items that require a longer frying time, this is not for you. Otherwise, fry grand pappy does the job quick. Tip: use a splatter shield.
Summary: I had a Fry Daddy for many years and it served me well until the past couple of years and then it just seemed like it boiled over all the time even with just a little bit of food so I finally decided to get a new deep fryer. I had decided that I wanted something a little larger so it was a hard decision whether to go with a more deluxe model or not.
Summary: We don't deep fry much but some foods require it no matter what. When our old fryer bit the dust, we purchased this one. Wide, oval shape. Metal divider if you need it. Basic cord, lid and spatula.
Summary: Does what it is supposed to do. Heats up quickly. Recovers temp quickly after fish added Fries evenly. Love that it has a lid. I store it inside the house with the oil still in it. I run the oil thru a coffee filter after each use. That extends the life of the oil. Good Eating!
Summary: It's a good deep fryer. The divider accomplishes its purpose of keeping two foods separate. There's no timer and there's no temperature dial, and there's no lid that is usable while the unit is hot. But if you're looking for a fairly small, inexpensive deep fryer this is a good way to go.
