Summary: The deep fryer works for the most part as well as we expected, but we are disapointed in the way the basket tips towards the back of the fryer when lowered. It's not as big as we would have liked, it's faily deep but not big enough inside to make a medium batch of homemade doughnuts. Other than that everything is good.
Summary: I am totally thrilled with my new deep fryer, but I have never seen a cord like this one. There is no plug with prongs to the fryer just two little bars that attach. It's like it is a magnetic type plug. You have to watch that it doesn't get knocked loose. It really is terrific though.
Summary: Cheap made piece of junk. Don't waste your money. Takes forever to warm up and the minute you add food the heated oil temperature drops back to room temperature, so basically your foods laying in oil while the fryer heats back up to cooking temperature.
Summary: This fryer only lasted 2 months, I only used it a few times. It is VERY cheaply made, the button to even open the top barely worked when I first used it. By my 3rd use, it took 5 minutes to get it open, then it wouldn't even heat up. Terrible! What a waste of money.
Summary: I HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE OF ITS LARGE CAPACITY.. WHEN I RECIEVED IT I PURCHASED A GALLON OF OIL TO FILL THE FRYER, I ONLY USED HALF OF THE OIL. IF THIS WAS A 5 QT FRYER I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COMPLETELY FILL THE FRYER SINCE THERE IS 4 QT TO A GALLON.
Summary: I adore this fryer! The one change I would make is it would be nice if I could remove the oil bowl for easier cleaning. Oh, and the magnetic cord thing can come undone sometimes, we have to make sure it has a direct to outlet position. We have made green fries (battered green beans), jalapeno poppers, onion rings, egg rolls, and homemade corn dogs. All have turned out great. For the price, I think it's nearly perfect!
Summary: The item says it is 5 quart...it is very small. It only takes 2 1/2 to 3 qt max of oil.It is much smaller than I ever expected. When it says 5 quart,I figured that meant it took 5 quart of oil..
