Eh...

Dean T., Newegg
19 July 2011
  • Summary: - Even though the LCD display is hard to read, the backlight will stay lit when you have a message, this makes the unreadable LCD display a little better since I just have to notice the display lit up Conclusion: Even though this seems to be a pretty high-tech phone, I'm torn between keeping it or...
  • Pros: - I do like the bluetooth integration with my mobile. Base has a much stronger signal than lugging the cell and a headset around all day. However, I wish that incoming mobile calls would be forwarded to the house line rather than transferred. That would be nice not using minutes. - Volume on the ...
  • Cons: - LCD display has a very limited viewing angle. Unless you are looking directly overhead of the base it is barely viewable - No "Do Not Disturb" setting, I had this on my last phone and it's one of those things you don't realize how great it is until you don't have it anymore

LS6245 12 Headset System

Anonymous, Newegg
10 October 2010
  • Summary: Background: 10 handset Uniden system, 7 years now, upgraded Energizer batts, 2 line VOIP. Rationale for upgrade: both wife and I are on call a lot and hauling the DroidX's around the house is no fun, even with BT headsets.
  • Pros: First the good: Great looks Nice sound quality Excellent range
  • Cons: No "Handset Naming". How will you figure out where to page the sets that only have numbers assigned, even sets from 7 yrs ago had naming. No "Room Monitor" function. Real letdown, again set from 7 yrs ago had it. No can do for multichild family. Only one line. C'mon folks, i understand that you a...

  • Summary: It's a work of art.
  • Pros: Excellent phone. Good volume and voice clarity on both ends. Looks awesome.
  • Cons: It's 100% touch-screen and takes a little getting used to. The menus on the phone are not in a very user-friendly configuration.

  • Pros: This has been a great phone. The base has worked as state. It pairs up automatically with my bluetooth cell phone when it is in range.
  • Cons: Not a big deal but can't see the screen easily on any of the devices. Again, not a big issue for me.

No complaints

Anonymous, Newegg
13 December 2009
  • Summary: So far so good, I'm not using the answering machine portion of this phone so I can't vouch for that. Aside from that this phone is great, it looks wonderful and works. I love the ability to be able to leave my cell phone charging and still be able to walk around and take calls.
  • Pros: Easy setup, sleek, stylish, sexy, modern, easy to setup.
  • Cons: Cannot activate the bluetooth connection from the handset.

Nice Phone

Brian J., Newegg
4 December 2009
  • Pros: It's pretty. It easily connected to my cell phone. No functional problems so far.
  • Cons: Back-lit keys on handset, but not on base. The phone and base are fingerprint magnets, although it does come with a cleaning cloth.

Disappointing and terrible audio quality

Mohammed, Amazon
20 July 2014
  • Summary: Switching from a V-Tech i5858, I had great expectations on the latest flagship phone. Unfortunately, this model disappointed me. The speakerphone quality left much to be desired, the buttonless feature often skips numbers if you are dialing quickly, and the directory has a very limited space.

Best phone I've used

QunsMum, Amazon
19 May 2013
  • Summary: So much better than the phone that I originally purchased. Nice design, good weight so it sits on desk and doesn't mo e when use base to dial and intuitively obvious to operate. Only drawback is that it doesn't come with a wireless headset but I found a relatively inexpensive one that works well...
