DOA - Send back to Vtech and waiting for replacement

Summary: The unit was defective on arrival. the microphone did not work so the caller on the other end of the line did not hear me. Contacted Vtech and they have process and RMA and I am waiting for a replacement unit. Thanks
Summary: You have to question the most basic of quality control when a brand new product arrives totally dead! Customer service is mailing out a shipping label, which I need to send back the product, have them check it before I receive a new one. Really?
