Summary: Pros- 2 lines. Great sound, no interference. Good distance range Base usable to make calls without the handset. Easy to use. Cons- No plug for headset. Overall is a great phone. I read the reviews before buying it and was concerned for all the complaints, but I couldn't find any problems with the phone.
Excerpt: I really was excited about getting this phone originally and now I am more excited about using it. After taking it out of the package it was easy to set up and really set forward about everything. I have had it for over a month now and I am a proud user of it. The phone is very customizable and perfect for a business. My favorite part of the phone is that it was the best for the dollar if not better than most of the phones in the price range.
Excerpt: I have purchased VTech products for various phone lines over the years and have found them to be well-built, well-priced and reliable. The 2-line base unit (model no. DS6151) and the separate 2-line phone extension (model no. DS6101) work perfectly. Having access to two lines in a single phone is a tremendous convenience. Recommended.
Summary: Product has good sound quality for messages. Sound reception is crisp and with good adjustable volume. Unit is attractive and functional. Still learning how to use some of the other features. The second line which is VOIP on my second line, isn't functional, even though I purchased a DSL filter. I will seek further info from the manual to see how I can activate. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
Summary: I have not heard very good reviews of VTech products over the years. However, I decided to go with this phone because of the good reviews online. Should have stuck with my gut and went with something different. First thing I noticed was the high static during calls. It wasn't bad enough to return it, but I did notice it and considered possibly having to purchase a noise filter. I found the phone to be a bit old fashioned and the features complicated to figure out.
