Summary: This phone picks up microwave frequencies. I thought 2.4 GHZ were not suppose to do this. Also, I will charge the battery overnight, and then when I'm on a call, I get that darn beeping sound alerting me my battery is about to die. This is a brand new battery. It shouldn't do this. I finally bought another phone which I love! I got the Panasonic KX-TG2352W and so far it is the best cordless I have ever owened. I will never go back to cheap phones.
Summary: I live in a very small apartment, so I am never far from the base to this phone and yet the reception constantly goes in & out if I so much as turn my head to the side. Not to mention, I often times have trouble hearing the person on the other end & have to raise the volume all the way up. My mother tried it & agreed, she said it was like talking into a tin can. I am very disappointed!
Summary: I initially purchased this to use at home as my AT&T 900MHz was on it's way to the circular file. It's initial cost is what brought me in but I have found that this is an excellent telephone. Voice Clarity is really great, it goes for days without being charged, and has yet to let me down. It easily works up to 200 feet from the base station(that's about as far as I have ever tried it).
Summary: I bought one for my cubicle at work and rather than spend big bucks on a fancy model and risk someone stealing it, I opted to go with the least expensive 2.4 GHz Uniden I could find. I went with Uniden because I bought another model, the EXAI3248, from Amazon and you can tell I liked it from my review of that model.
Summary: [they] suggest you buy, as an accessory for this phone, an AT&T headset that works with any phone with a 2.5 mm jack. Both the headset and the phone are great, but they don't work together: the phone has no jacks whatsoever. Don't buy this phone expecting you can use it with a headset.
