Summary: This is a good expansion device overall. It has great distance and features; the base is upstairs and this unit is a floor below. Only drawback is the design. It's very light and difficult to hold..
Pros: quality, features, distance
Cons: weight and design; it's light and uncomfortable to hold
Summary: In my busy small business we have two telephone lines and use our answering machine lots. Contemporary wireless telephones don't last very long, so it seems like we're replacing them every two or three years. We've had Vtech, Phillips, and Panasonic - this was my first Uniden. The Panasonic we had been using unexpectedly failed, so I checked Consumer Reports and went out to buy a Uniden which was well rated.
Summary: We have had Uniden phones for several years. They are the most durable phone I have had. We tend to abuse our electronic items and have had a lot of success with these phones being able to take a lot of dropping and slamming around. The only reason we had to buy a new one was because I left it in the rain for a week. Yeah....typical!
Pros: Comfortable Handset, Compact design, Easy To Set Up, Good Sound, Good Speakerphone, Nice Features, Wide Range
