Summary: The speakerphone on the handset cuts out whenever moved or set down, I returned the first setand am about to return my second set for this reason. I think that the volume could be a bit louder, even though the audio is clear. The also feel that the ringtone volume is ridiculously low with the exception of the base which is loud enough.
Summary: I have had a Uniden before, it was some time ago. Then I switched to Vitech,( needed some batteries for the Vtech)) and bought this Uniden. It cannot compare to the ease of use the Vitech has, in fact I kept the Vitech and I am now stuck with the Uniden. This version is the the most complicated and hard to use phone I ever had. I have not been able to leave a voice message on the answering machine. A complete waste.
Summary: The features on this phone are mostly ordinary. The only thing I've found useful is the built-in call blocking function. Other than that, everything else is basic functionality you would expect. I don't notice any real clarity difference in this DECT set vs. the 5.8ghz set that I was using. The previous phone set I replaced this with was a 6 year old Panasonic set that had color LCD on each handset and caller announcement from all handsets.
Summary: I've been using Uniden phones for many years, so thought nothing of buying this one looking forward to some of the new qualities it has. Only after I opened it up did I realize it was missing something I've just become accustomed to them having: belt hooks. It took getting the batteries charged and plugging the phone in that I realized another missing item I didn't think phones even came without anymore: plug-in for a headset.
Summary: I've been a big Uniden fan for years. I have the Tru 8330 which has begun to have some issues with caller ID. So I thought I'd try another Uniden based on the rave reviews here and my past positive experiences. I've tried two different times to recreate what others have found. My experience has been: the sound quality is muffled and low. (I'm somewhat hard of hearing, but had no trouble on my old Uniden.) In two days I've had six calls dropped.
Summary: Just bought the phone to replace my old Uniden phone and for the most part been happy with it. I wanted to give it 4.5 out of 5 but don't have that option. The Good: Clear sound different ring tones and was fairly easy to use. LCD display is really bright and can read. Was able to get some distance between the base and the handsets even through the fairly thick walls of my older apartment. The base and handsets (by accident) had been dropped a few times and still works.
Summary: We purchased the Uniden cordless phone system to replace an old Panasonic system which was dying. The Uniden system was very easy to set up, and it has worked perfectly since we installed it. We especially like the clarity and ease of use of the answering system, compared to our old phone.
Summary: This particular phone was just a replacement for an older version of this Uniden phone. It was easy to set up, easy to understand, battery life is great and sound quality is excellent! You won't go wrong in making this phone your choice also. Unident puts out an outstanding product!
Summary: I love my phone and all the features-the best being call blocker I have this feature with phone company but only works for local numbers but now I can use this for long distance 800 numbers where most of the nuisance calls come from- telephone is everything advertize and easy to use- love the blue back lite have really not found any fault with this phone.
Summary: I have been looking for phones for the first floor of my home for a few months. There are so many to choose from that it took a while to sort through the choices and the reviews. I have the main line in the kitchen and the other lines in the family room and playroom. I can hear the ring easily (you have ring tone choices). It is easy to use, I have never had a problem hearing, the sound quality is good. The answering machine is easy to use.
