Summary: I bought this phone to replace an older Uniden model that stopped working. The older model had many features, but the sound used to fade occasionally allowing me to hear about 80% of what the other person said. My hope was that the new DECT 6.0 technology would solve this problem. This hope did not materialize. The new phone has the same problem.
Summary: We had this phone before and due to an electrical problem in our apartment, the main phone adapter stopped working. Prior to that incident, I had no problems with the phone. My husband used it for extended periods during work conference calls and the battery last throughout his calls. The phone also allows him to use a headset so he is hands-free during those long calls.
Summary: I like the phone design, but will be getting something else. I get "out of range" when I am no more than 3 ft from the base. The main button to check caller ID will not respond anymore, this has actually happened to me once before and I replaced that handset, thinking it was a fluke, but it is happening again. Also, when you call a number on caller ID and its long distance, it does not dial the 1 automatically, which seems extremely out of date at this point.
Summary: The phone has great features. That's where the good part ends. The main middle button that controls the majority of the great features stopped working on the phone we used the most in the kitchen. So I switched with the phone in the basement. After a very short time the button stopped working on that one too. I haven't had the phone for very long and now the battery life is very short.
Summary: Purchased two sets of Uniden phones last year because of the headset compatibility. Very quickly I had issues. The port which houses the brass headset jack is encased in plastic. If you move around (as I do) and the headset cord catches, the port becomes loose and will not hold the headset jack in place. The result is horrible reception and static. I have irritated a host of friends due to these phones!
Summary: I have had this phone for about 2 years now and the "out of range" is annoying! Now, the worst thing...the main navigation buttons in the middle of the phone is going out. It has already gone on the phone that we use the most in the living room, so I switched phones, now it is going out on the second phone... The up barely works. It is mostly annoying because I can't use the memory caller feature or the caller id. Don't buy this phone!
Phone is the worst piece of garbage I have ever bought

Summary: I purchased this phone system for my sister for her birthday. 39 days later it is completely fried. I purchased it through a vendor on Amazon who said "sorry - your warranty was up after 30 days". They instructed us to contact Uniden. They were worthless and flat out rude to my sister and said that I must have purchased refurbished phones. I contacted the vendor back who said to ship them back to the store but never provided us with shipping information.
