Summary: [...] my (less than technology savvy)family setup the phones in a matter of minutes. For completely avoiding the stress of setting up these phones I am truly grateful. Also every other aspect of the phones are great as well.
Pros: Comfortable Handset, Easy To Set Up, Good Sound, Good Speakerphone, Strong Signal
Summary: I am very happy with my phones. After looking at several Uniden phones I mixed up some of the features with other models. I have had nothing but luck with the Uniden name brand and will not buy anything other than the Uniden brand. My model does not have a socket for using a headset and it doesn't have a clip to hang it from my pocket, two things I really needed. Because I work from home there are several features that my phone must have.
Summary: These are great phones. Only thing missing would be a belt clip. The DECT 6.0 seems to be alot better than the 5.8 systems as far as range and sound quality. I have own both the 2.4 and 5.8 Uniden. Uniden makes great phones.
Summary: We have the Uniden cordless phone, and recently had some problems with the battery lasting less than a day on a charge. Consequently, I tried to call customer service, however Uniden only offers email customer service. I finally found a Texas number for them where one has to pay to call them This is a far cry from Panasonic or Sony which both offer free, toll-free support.
Summary: Recently purchased this phone after having one bad experience and one good with uniden. I must say I am more than pleased with this product. My main goal with a new phone was reception distance, and with almost an acre of land, it is hard for me to get the phones to cut out. I also have the base unit within a couple feet of my wireless router and have yet to hear any interference. Great phones, easy to use, and comfortable too. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Summary: This system was a good improvement over our previous cordless phones. The batteries seem to last a long time if I forget to put handsets away. The sound is strong anywhere in the house. What I really like is the ability to program the caller list on one phone and propogate it easily to all of the other phones and base in the system. Works the same for caller id entries that you want to record. We use the phone co vmail, so I can't comment on the digital recorder.
Summary: I picked this up at Costco and it has worked fine with no problems. I like the base station because it works even when the power is out. The cordless phones work well also. Easy to set up. I started losing reception with the cordless phones at one point, so I consulted the manual; it suggested unpluging the base station for a few minutes then plug back in. I did so and now everything works fine again.
Summary: I've had this phone system for about two weeks now and love it. It has excellent reception (no static) in all parts of our large colonial house. I really like the ability to remotely listen to messages and not have to run over to the base if you decided not to answer the phone because you don't recognize the number on caller ID. The intercom is a nice feature too that you can call a specific phone or all at once.
Summary: Wireless phones are a bit of an enigma. One reviewer loves a certain model while others think it is pure junk. All I can say is my experience with these phones has been mostly good. Clear reception, long range and no distortion for folks on the other end. The only less than perfect experience has been with the corded base and my Plantronics CS50 900 Mhz wireless headset.
