Summary: Thought I was buying a replacement phone for the Uniden I already have. This however is a companion phone which works great that way and holds a charge well, but for some reason it drops calls. My other Uniden that this is the companion to works great and has always held a charge and doesn't drop calls.
Summary: I ordered 2 of these in order to expand my home phone system. They work great! My only complaint is that the directions to link the unit to the base unit were vague. FYI, you must disconnect the batteries of any other handsets that are already registered to the base unit or else you will keep getting an error message when registering the new handsets to the base.
Summary: If your looking for a phone to last you with all functions in tact, look elsewhere.
Pros: Still works after a couple years.
Cons: I've had 2 sets of Uniden phones over the past 4 years or so, the first one the menu button started to be unresponsive then totally stopped working. This second set was given to us, and somewhere between 6 months to a year, same thing. I'm not buying Uniden anymore after experiencing the same problem on 2 completely different models.
Summary: I originally bought the 1600 series phones to use with my new Net Talk home phone service, but the phones would not work with Net Talk. I replaced the 1600 series phones with my old 1500 series phone, and the 1500 series phone worked great with Net Talk. I then purchased two more 1500 series handsets, and all three phones work well with Net Talk.
Summary: Bought this from the Walmart site. I am using this with DECT 1560 base. I needed an additional handset. No problem with registering. Followed the instructions that came with the handset. The price is cheap and it works great!
Summary: Ordered two phones to replace the one I lost and put a phone in another room. Product arrived ahead of schedule in good condition. Had no problem syncing to existing base, set up went well and took very little time at all. Only problem I might have is that repalcement phone does not seat in my existing phone charger base unit which would have been nice.
Summary: Was able to replace destroyed hand set on my 3 phone system. Took a little intervention because handset that went bad was handset #2. System wants to install the new one as handset #3, but it already exists. Reassigned handset #3 to handset #2, and then was able to add new handset as handset #3.
Summary: I ordered this phone as a add on for the base station and phone we already have, works well all over the home, we use them a lot as intercoms by selecting each headset to call, call quality is excellent (we use this with MagicJack).
