Summary: easy to use and good voice quality. I did not need the answering recorder as I use the voice mail feature on our Vonage phone service, so I do not know how well that feature works. The only shortcomings I found are that it doesn't have an headphone jack to allow hands free use, along with no clip to be able to put on a belt or other means for hand free use.
Summary: I like them so far. They are about the same as my other Uniden cordless phones. I like the fact that they are light and easy to carry in my pockets. I definitely love the intercom feature. I can speak to anyone in the house with out running up and down the hall.
Summary: The more I learn about the item the better I like it. It was easy to install and easy to use. I especially like the mute feature if you don't want to be bothered by the phone ringing. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new phone.
Summary: My family owned a Uniden phone with 1 handset for more than 5 years - and we were happy with our thrifty selves! Unfortunately, the handset, experienced calamities by the hands of a new family member - and has since ceased functioning. So, we checked online with Walmart to review the various new Uniden products and their customer reviews. We saw Uniden D1680-3. Liked the sleek look, the caller ID, additional handsets, functions and Walmart's great price!
Summary: This is a replacement for another Uniden phone that we had for over 8 yrs. the batteries would no longer hold a charge so we needed to get another phone. because we liked the old phone so well we got another one but the new one doesn't have the headphone plug hole and it has less than half the ring tones. The phone seems to work ok but we are not happy about the down grade in the new phone from the old one.
Summary: Per a conversation with Uniden customer support I determined the handsets and base units sold by Walmart were from incompatible model lines, rendering one handset useless. The box had a discounted price sticker on it, and clear packing tape where the manufacturers seal would be. I surmise a previous owner returned the product, and Walmart chose to resell the package.
