  • Summary: The phones work fine for a rental home, where you can write them off as a business expense. They're functions are capricious, and often you are pushing the functions madly and frantically to get them to work. Deleting messages is a function that works with some handsets and not others, switching to line 2 is easy, even if you didn't want to.

  • Summary: Does exactly what it is supposed to. Great price for a basic cordless phone. A cinch to expand. Can work with up to 12 handsets which is more than most units - even more expensive units. Great clear sound.

  • Summary: I purchased 3 of these phones and even if the phones are fully charged they cut out right in the middle of a conversation. The line just goes dead. I contacted Uniden and they sent me a replacement phone which looks like it was refurbished. Half of the display, on the top, is darker than the bottom and I have to take the phone on and off the base constantly because the display will just go blank and their is no dial tone. This happens to all 3 phones.

  • Summary: At first the phone was great. Then it began losing its signal, I would get my voice back in a shrill echo and then a dial tone. People were constantly thinking I was hanging up on them and I was losing important calls. I would not recommend this phone to anyone who needed to be on it for more than a minute.

  • Summary: The perks: caller ID, multiple ringtones, and a silence option. The downside: Terrible reception! I have a fairly small house and I lose reception if I walk too far from the base. It may be cordless, but don't expect to talk too far away from the base.

  • Summary: I bought my phone in February 2011. It has worked great for me while it lasted. Now I am here to buy another one, because mine is taking a dive but after 17 months, and for the price of less than $18, I don't think is bad. While it worked it was great. It kept a charge while off the base for 20+ hours. There were many times I have talked on it for 5-8 hours with no interruptions or battery going dead. I would definitely recommend.
