It's Good To Talk - But It's Better If You Can Hear One Another!

Summary: As a rule I'm a big fan of Gigaset, and on the basis of owning an exceptionally good set of SL785 phones I recommended them to my parents. Unfortunately my father decided the price of the 785's was too high for him and opted for these cheaper S795's instead, thinking for some strange reason that the higher number meant they'd be just as good! Wrong - and what a shocking difference there is between the two products! Whereas my SL785's are hewn from solid polished metal.
Summary: Siemens....Made in Germany.. do we need to say more. Love the phone super reception. Easy to program just by pressing 2 buttons it will put phone nos into set 2 and 3 by transfer. Phone also has a good long range from main base and no interference.Answering maschine also easy to use already pre recorded message.Top Nosh
Summary: Phones are ok, bit plasticky but lightweight and the menu system is easy to navigate and use. I've not got round to synching with outlook contacts due to the fact the connector is behind the battery cover. The main issue is the sound quality or more specific the lack of. Often callers sound muffled, tinny and hard to understand. Not a patch on my previous philips DECT phones that were over 10 years old.
Summary: Having used a low price BT cordless for years I was looking for an upgrade. I researched all models and arrived at the S795 twin, it had everything I required such as long battery life 45 minuits answer memory pleasing to the eye huge phone book memory the only question mark was the cost! but after using the Siemens for a number of weeks I am pleased I bought this twin unit as it is everything that I want from a cordless phone/ answerphone and easy to use.
