Excellent! VoIP + Landline integration that works.

Summary: Good points Excellent sound, loads of functionality, integrates easily with locally hosted IP-PBX and with remote ITSP's. VoIP sound quality is excellent. Good signal range and amazing battery life. Up to 250 contacts is very usefull. The best bit is how easy it is to switch between VoIP and Land line calling!
Summary: Good points The phone is really well designed, and like the way the handset charging bases don't have to be anywhere near the phone socket. Bad points Setting up the VOIP and Gigaset part of the phone was a nightmare. The instruction book you are given is tiny, you are given a CD Rom and full instructions are on there.
Summary: Good points Relatively easy to set-up. Looks Good. Bad points Restriction on compatible VOIP suppliers. Highest Volume Settings are not very loud therefore 3 sets was essential in order to be able to hear the phone ringing around the house.
Summary: Good points Audio quality crystal clear. Transferring calls to another handset allows you to remain on line as a conference or pass the call to another handset. :-) Very good range (can be boosted with a repeater but no need) Bad points Handsets are a bit lightweight but pretty good overall Other thoughts Very good
S685IP - you won't go far wrong (but you can go far from the base station)

Summary: Good points It works well as a phone (!) and the range (handset to base) is excellent - much better than any previous I have tried. Web interface to base station makes configuration easy and it's great to download a phone directory, save as vCards, and transfer to other handsets. Great to be able to check arrival of email and scan subject lines. Bad points Too bad you can't configure an email account separately for each handset.
Summary: Good points Sound Quality Bad points - Low number of contacts that can be stored in the phone, 200. I have 800+ I need to store It seems that the web screen savers can't be configured on a phone by phone bases but only at a base station level. - The web screen savers (eg weather reports) are only text base as well Other thoughts Although this is a top of the range DECT phone, its feature set and useablity compared to a current mobile phone is miles apart.
As many features as you'll ever need from a home cordless phone

Summary: Good points Excellent feature set. Hard to think of anything more you'd need in a home phone. Impressive VoIP performance - it can handle more different VoIP accounts than most people would ever need, and includes all the latest CODECS. Sound quality a great improvement over our previous cordless phone, even on normal landline calls.
Summary: Good points Does everything, PSTN, VoIP, Email, SMS, Answer Machine etc.. Looks good also. I can recommend this product Bad points Takes time to set up all the features, don't expect to sort all the features in one sitting. The Browser Interface is great for reassurance and current service status. Other thoughts Great service from Ligo, delivered quickly to Ireland.
Summary: Good points Fantastic phone, as a telecommunications consultant I was astonished at how good this hand set is! Bad points I have not found any.... Other thoughts I would challange anyone to buy a better hand set for I.P or PSTN use.....
Summary: Good points Easy to setup on both fixed line and VoIP. Menus are intuitive. It isn't flash or clever it just does what it says it will do and does it well. It is the only bit of technology to make me smile since the launch of the first iPod. It just does what it does well and without fuss. Bad points After two weeks I haven't found any yet.
