Summary: I purchased this phone for my home office about 6 months ago. It didn't take long for the phone itself to look very tired. The buttons on the front (not the whole facia mind) have faded (and my phone has not been sitting in the sun) AND it hasn't really been used that much (so it is not down to 'hard use').
Summary: Very easy to setup and a good phone to use, but where is customer support and after sales service, I have no idea how to get one. My phone stopped charging in less than a months and none of the resellers sell accessories. DUALPhone iteself has not left any contact details for themselves.. No phone numbers, or even an email address. I wonder what to do with the phone now.
Summary: I bought two of these Dualphone almost at the same time. At first they were great, worked perfectly and allowed me to make very long international calls, which obviously saved me lots of money. But after one or two years both sets of phone stopped ringing, either when someone called thorough Skype or landline.
Summary: I was searching for the same type of Skype phone in Philips brand and because I couldn't find, I bought this. I was able to connect, set up an account, all features as mentioned are all working fine except the ringer and the audio quality. Even with the max volume for the ringer and the speaker, they are very less audible. In fact after few months of use, ringer stopped working and we were able to recognise the incoming calls from the light blinks.
OK when it works, but not reliable or well made. Avoid.

Summary: The good: Call quality was above average, menus were reasonably logical and the screen easy to read. Calls made to both Skype and SkypeOut contacts went through quickly and flawlessly. The bad: Buttons feel cheap and spongy. Not easy to dial a number quickly. The ugly: The 4 key didn't work properly - I had to press it much harder than the others to get it to register a keypress; every time I tried to define a handset nickname, the phone reset itself; the base unit would...
Great idea, but poor sound quality so ultimately no good

Summary: I bought one of these to use on Virgin Broadband and connect to my router. I signed up to a Skype monthly subscription to include all UK land calls. Unfortunately, despite trying to call a number of land lines through Skype, all the calls were terrible. Either I couldn't hear a word the other person was saying, or they could not hear me.
Summary: I found this phone easy to set up and it worked as advertised. Then I was offered and accepted a software (firmware) update and the features and quality of the sound was degraded. A further 3 updates improved some faults but created new ones. Eventually the firmware problems were fixed, but now the handset ring function has failed. Not good in a phone which is only around 2 years old.
Wonderful when it works but it doesn't work for long

Summary: I've had 2 Skype phones and neither lasted a year. Pity, because when it works, it's great. But both broke and there is almost no after-sales service and no phone contact. Only an email address. Fortunately I bought the second one via Amazon so I was able to return it and get reimbursed. One can only hope that one day, a reliable Skype phone will be put on the market.
