Summary: Hi, I bought Philips CD1551B/37 for $30 and found it was quite attractive in looks. Sound quality was also very good. I returned the item for two reasons: the battery life was near about 5 hours whereas the company claims to have 12 hours. It does not have lighted keypad.
Summary: I've owned this phone for 4 months now and I regret it. It was a gift from our wedding registry and I feel bad for the family member that had to pay money for this. My number one complaint about this phone is the fact that it's *very* difficult to hear anything through the ear piece. I'm 28 with pretty good hearing and if you have any background noise it's a struggle to hear them speaking. Even with the volume at maximum it's still very low.
Summary: BT home hubs are central units distributing a variety of different services to the home - broadband, wireless, and phone being the main three. In collaboration with this useful unit I have connected a Philips CD1551B which has a hub of its own. The CD155 is a user-friendly home/office phone with all the features required to run a successful place of every-day life, or the workspace of a small business.
Pros: Simple features, good quality materials and very user friendly!
Cons: I know it's simple but that's what's great! The loud speaker isn't good.
Summary: Our telephone at home had been playing up for a while; we were going to get a replacement when my sister kindly offered us the model that I am going to be reviewing today. She was after a phone that had 2 handsets and so gave us this one to tie us over. The phone was the Philips CD1551B/05.
Summary: I bought this phone shortly after I had moved as buying one saves the equipment rental charge from your phone line supplier. I bought it from Amazon for the reasonable price of £25 including p+p. I was slightly disappointed when it arrived as it looked better in the picture than it did in real life. If I had seen it in a shop it is unlikely I would have bought it.
