Summary: I have a pair of these, a base station and a satellite -- they're both the same phone, only the bases differ. They were reduced in a sale; I think I now know why. They were easy enough to set up. But for some bizarre reason, unlike the the US version, which has a hands-free loudspeaker, the British version doesn't have that feature.
Summary: I bought these phones on price as I needed twin phones in a hurry. Initially they were easy to set up and use although the ringtone was not loud enough for our needs. After only a few months, the second phone stopped ringing altogether and there was no dialling beep. The instruction manual was unhelpful, as was the website, so we were down to using one phone. This has now got the same problem and has stopped ringing.
Summary: Very poor sound quality with lots of interference and poor volume. After five months one of the transformers gave out. Not what I would have expected from philips and not a patch on our five year old panasonic phone.
Summary: Bought these last year as a Christmas gift after I bought the same for myself; the recipient is more than happy with them, mine are also brilliant; use the in built alarm on the bedroom phone rather than my usual alarm since it is reliable, even in a power cut.
Summary: I'm afraid that I was not at all satisfied with this product because of the very poor sound quality--being hard to hear what people were saying to me and reports from the people I was calling that they were finding it hard to hear me.I tried moving the base station to different locations but bthere was no noticeable improvement. I have returned the phone and am currently looking for a better model.
2 warnings: no loudspeaker and ring tones are very quite

Summary: Personally i have not had any problems in terms of sound quality [even with the router next to the hub causing all sorts of interferance], in fact replacing my old BT phones i have noticed an improvement. However i do support the people saying that the headset speaker is not good, when theres a lot of noise you can bearly hear the other person - but why not just go into a different room and use the good range cover they have.
