Summary: I have no problem with this phone, other than it isn't the clearest cordless that I've ever used. But then, it was inexpensive, looked good, and was only meant to be used occasionally. Good distance, buttons, overall feel.
Summary: I wanted a phone with fewer features and came across this device on Amazon. Browsing through dozens of offerings (most from Panasonic), I found this Philips phone(yes! finally, something different). Philips is a good brand, I thought. Now that I've had it for about a week, I can say that this is one of the worst consumer products I have ever purchased.
Summary: The phone works as advertised but it is not exceptionally user friendly on the phonebook and call list features. The user manual is poor, to the extent I'm surprised that Philips would allow it to be furnished with which appears to be a quality product.
Summary: It looks like a nice (and expensive) phone, but do not be deceived: it is [...]. It won't allow personalized ringtones, the remote access does not work (though it says it does, I couldn't get it to work after 45 minutes), and the instructions are counterintuitive and misleading. Using this phone has been the most frustrating experience I've recently had. Get anything else.
Summary: I have had this phone for about 2 years now and have never had a problem with it. The handset is gloss black which looks sleek and modern and the buttons are soft and quite large and easy to press without pressing the button next to it. You can save numbers into the phone book so you can quickly dial your favourite numbers or if you have caller display with your telephone provider, the name of the person appears on the display when they ring.
Summary: as far as cordless landline phones go this one is a solid reliable option. i have been using this at home for nearly 2 years now and it has yet to have failed. the reception away from the base is excelent i live on a four floored house and it works perfectly on every floor and in the garden. the sound is crisp and clear and doesn't suffer from static or interference. it has useful features like telling you when you have a message left for you to listen to.
Summary: Before technology went mad with computers, mobile phones and the internet, in order to communicate with anyone, we had to make do with one of those things known as a telephone, I'm sure it wasn't that long ago or maybe I'm just showing my age. A telephone is a device used to communicate with others, by dialing a series of numbers.
Summary: I won this Philips cordless phone about three months ago in an online competition. I was so happy to win this phone, as my previous phone was given to me by my grandparents, so you can imagine how old it was. The phones appearance is very stylish. It has a black finish, and can be mounted onto a charger unit. I installed my new phone, which involved adding a couple of triple A batteries (included) into the back, and set about loading all of my contacts into its memory.
Summary: couldnt belive my look when i seen the philips cdi501b in my local comet stores it happend to be just what i was looking for, i was mainly looking for a phone that wasnt to complexed for me to use but more the fact i needed afone that displayed the callers idenity so i knew who was calling me after reciving numerious calls from calling centres.
