Summary: Purchased this as a peripheral for the larger set for our small office. Only issue I see is that it does NOT have a "private mode" like our home Panasonic wireless phones have. Not a big letdown, but it would be convenient to hold a business call without fearing someone else will pick up the phone at the same time.
Summary: had to buy this one to replace one whose speaker died. no problems with this handset (yet) but seems they aren't made terribly well. but i like the phones and the system all together that's why i replaced the handset instead of just getting a whole new system.
Summary: I purchased this device as the 6th extension for a set and answering machine I previously bought. The price from Amazon was very reasonable. The voice quality is not as good as other cordless phones I've owned in the past, but it works very well and is compatible with the answering machine set I already own. Registering this new handset with the base unit was very easy and simple to do.
Summary: This is a wonderful handset. It contains a belt clip and you can add a headset to talk on it. Just clip the phone to you, put on the headset, then walk around the house cleaning and talking. The sound quality is really good and the speaker phone works great. The only issue I have with the handset is that it is not intuitive at all. A simple task like calling someone using the caller ID requires figuring out how to do it.
good replacement phone for Panasonic cordless system
Mary Owens, Amazon

Summary: We have a Panasonic cordless system with 3 phones, and unfortunately my husband drove off with one of the phones left on the roof of the car. I ordered this replacement and we're back to 3 phones again, yay. Works well. My only complaint is that he programmed the ringtone on this one to play Wagner's 'The Ride of the Valkyries' and that's just plain annoying.
