Summary: My main complaint is with the very short duration of the battery charge. Sometimes we get a beep alerting us that the phone's about to go dead, but sometimes we don't - it just dies. When I hear the warning beep, I can't just switch to the 2nd handset to continue my conversation, I have to switch to my old (2005) handset to avoid being cut off completely. I don't ever remember the charge dying on our 2005 Panasonic phones, 2 of them just wore out with age.
Summary: This phone is used in a commercial application 10 hours a day - 6 days a week. The handsets have been dropped numerous times and everything still works well after about 10 years! We walk around with the phones so the ringer is turned off (we can hear the base unit) but we can still get a page. And if we misplace a phone (it happens often) we can always find it with the page (even with the ringer turned off).
Pros: Inexpensive, Easy to use, Durable, Exceeded expectations, Convenient, answering system options, paging ring always available
Summary: We had purchased several different phone systems from different manufacturers over a 5 year period. All promised to do the same thing, but this system is the only one that delivered. I am one satisfied customer, and seeking to expand it to 4 phones from 2.
Pros: Durable, Exceeded expectations, Convenient, Easy to use
Summary: I have owned this unit for several years. The voice volume quality has been poor from the outset. Later on I found that the handsets will just stop working with no warning. After a charge they will work for a short time (few minutes max) and then stop again. I have always charged the battery and then run it all the way down before charging, so that is not the issue. It is a poor quality battery problem.
Pros: Durable, Easy to use
Cons: Poor quality, Expensive, Did not meet expectations
Summary: I needed to replace the telephones in my home - and I purchased the Panasonic KX-TGA650B 5.8GHz 2-line phones - they were expandable - up to four telephones. They are really easy to use, and the extensions phones only need an electrical outlet!
Summary: Good equipment. The description made NO mention that it was refurbished. I would have preferred new, and would have paid more to get new. Refurbished electronics can sometimes be a problem. So far, the equipment works fine, and the price was very good.
