Summary: Overall I am satisfied with the phone system. However, there is one "feature" that is not well documented. I found out the hard way. We needed to expand our original system which came with 3 handsets to 5 handsets. When I tried to register the new handsets to the system, only one would register. I finally found in the online Panasonic tech support information that the system has a 4 handset limit.
Summary: the battery life is terrible, they power off mid conversation and if left uncradled for a day u have to recharge AGAIN for a full day....has a speakerphone feature and for some reason every time i try to use it the phone powers off! when they DO work, they are pretty clear and dont get intereference. intercom feature a plus.
Summary: These phones were fine, but as one other user mentioned, one of my 2 handsets started to lose connection to the base and within a few months the other phone did the same thing. I've had these phones for less than 2 years and expected them to last longer than that. What happens is that the phone rings, you push on answer, and the phone dies. You cannot turn it back on again without setting it in the cradle.
Summary: Two things I absolutely hate about this phone: 1. The answering machine is difficult to use. It's not built into the base, you have to access it from the phone. 2. The handsets constantly disconnect in the midst of a phone call and say "Connection lost to base". You have to go to a base, put them back in for a few seconds, pick them up, and hope they're working again. AWFUL and frustrating.
Summary: The Panasonic 5.8ghz handset is an easy to install add-on handset to the base unit. Have a handset in every room if you want this is so easy. Problem- unable to transfer your 'phone book' into new handsets and this is a bit time consuming to add in all your numbers again.
Summary: I need help - - -I purchased this product, only to find out after receipt that I cannot use a fourth extension with my master unit. I have not responded sooner because I have had a health problem, which is now corrected. (Product= Panasonic KX-TGA430B) How should I proceed? Incidently, I now have and use three of these units which have performed fantasticaly.
Summary: If I was writing a review on these phones about 18 months ago when I bought them, I would have probably given them four stars. It has great range (my husband has one of the handsets in his workshop, which is 200 feet away from our house). It has quite a nice few features, although we were disappointed when we very quickly maxed out the number of phone numbers we are allowed to store in the directory. The phone is a good weight and size and feels good in your hand.
