Summary: We purchased the Panasonic KX-TGA740 system about a year ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. The batteries go dead in a very very short time. Even if the handset is not used! They have never held a charge very well.
Summary: It was hard to part with my old AT&T cordless phone set I had for over 10 years. Consumer Reports rated many Panasonic phones at the top so I went with this one. This phone has everything, clarity is great, so many features, it's so convienient if you live a fast lifestyle.
Summary: This sounds like a stupid little thing, but it's not. Time management is key, and there are just some calls you know you can't pick up at this moment! Not having this feature - which was on my KG-TX6700 - slows me down.
Pros: Big buttons. Clear speakerphone. Comes with belt clip (something Panasonic cheaps out on on their other phones). Big caller ID display.
Cons: Your greeting and incoming message plays out loud unless you specifically set "call screening" to "off". But if you turn call screening off, you can't just turn the volume up if you see a call coming in. So you can't see the call, think, what does she want, screen the message, and then pick up if...
