  • Pros: Good reception and clarity. Locator function is great if you ever lost a handset.
  • Cons: Message counter display is old style. Layout of buttons on handset is odd.

  • Summary: I bought the Panasonic 5 handset system to replace my collection of old phones and to link my cell phone to the home phones - no need to carry around a smartphone at home. I plugged the base unit into my new Ooma Telo and the combination is fantastic.

Obvious is missed

Garvin C., Newegg

  • Summary: Still love Panasonic phones. The wall mount things is just a total lack of common sense on behalf of the designers.
  • Pros: Lots of handsets, great sound, big screen, uses standard rechargeable batteries.
  • Cons: Just one: the wall mount for the base unit is basically useless unless you're more than six-foot tall. The base unit is excellent for setting on a desk, but when wall-mounted is almost useless, and that's how I want it set up. I'm 5'11" and I can't read the number of messages display without stan...

  • Summary: The 16 digit name limitation in the telephon's phonebook is way too small This limitation made me down grade the overall rating from 5 to 4. I love the way the phone speaks the callers name. I love being able to name the handsets.

  • Summary: The phone was an easy set despite the long charging time, sleek and blends in with any décor. Large buttons are very helpful along with the large back lighted screen. It was difficult to set the cell to phone issue and needed extra help with the set up.

Works Great Most of the Time

Scott S., Newegg
20 September 2013
  • Summary: I have had this phone for about two months now. I do not use it for a landline--only for my cell phone. I have the cell phone linked to this house phone, so when my cell phone rings, all phones in the house ring.
  • Pros: Bluetooth connectivity Ample number of receivers
  • Cons: Bluetooth can be finicky (see review) No text message notification

  • Summary: I am replacing a set of 5 Panasonic remote phones that worked very well for about 7 yrs. Pros: The new ones were easy to setup, I like the bigger buttons and we skipped the ability to load custom color photos into the phones, takes up too much memory and reduced the stored numbers count.
