  • Summary: I had to get used to the configuration of features on this phone system compared to the system that it replaced (because it stopped working). Some features are not as user friendly. There is no button for retrieving messages (directly).

Disappointing

Simon F., Newegg
19 June 2014
  • Summary: I'm very disappointed. My prior Panasonic was very old but much more functional.
  • Pros: Takes rechargeable AAA batteries, so I can drop in eneloops when the current cheap batteries die.
  • Cons: Base charger died within four months; reception worse than prior Panasonic it replaced; interface is SLOW and takes way too many presses to get what you need.

Very Nice Wireless Phone

Anonymous, Newegg
28 May 2014
  • Pros: The system is remarkably clear and has very good range. The handset will reach the base from 100 yards or so, nice and clear. The talking caller id is a bit amusing sometimes, but this is a handy feature. No need to run to a display to read who it is.
  • Cons: None that I know of. I have not tried the bluetooth connection.

  • Summary: This was easy to set up using the quick set up guide. I did have to refer to the complete manual for a few things, but now that I'm using the phone regularly I find it easy to access the various features.

  • Summary: I bought one set for my mother, it worked really well for two months. I then purchased another set to replace this one and it lasted 5 months. When it works it works great but for the money you would think it would last longer than 2-5 months.

Expan Handset Model??????

Mark E., Newegg
9 December 2013
  • Pros: Have used and sold cordless for years. Panasonic has been the best AND most trouble free. They still have headset plugs and belt clips, which most mfgrs have abandoned. Talking caller ID is really handy. We'll see about the Bluetooth, if I can only get past the issues with compatible cell phones ...
  • Cons: No mention on newegg product page, of what model handset to buy to expand beyond 3 handsets. The 4HS models I am interested in are out of stock. This would work if HS is not too expensive. ....that is if I could find out ON THE PRODUCT PAGES AT NEWEGG, what model to get. An obvious oversight? ..O...

  • Summary: You can't tell from the box that it links only to a couple dozen cell phones. The list is hard to find on the Panasonic website.
