Great

John N., Newegg
12 March 2009
  • Summary: All the cons are minor but added up. Great for smaller businesses and big households. Panasonic built a good system for this one just needs to fix the glitches and add some clips and a caller ID on the base.
  • Pros: Small business excellence. Caller ID works on Line 1 perfect. Different ring tones for different lines. Battery life is great. GREAT RANGE (200 Yards on a good day) Intercom underused but works as page find.
  • Cons: No clip. Something wonky has happened to Handset 1's ringer speaker. Line 2 Caller ID resets after one ring. No Caller ID on base. No easy changing answering messages.

Going Cordless

Anonymous, Newegg
22 September 2006
  • Summary: Rubberized finish to the handsets would provide a more positive grip for handling would be a plus. Multiple mailboxes for messages are a nice thought. A headset jack on the base would be handy for extended phone usage as to use the handset requires removal from the charger.
  • Pros: Compact footprint, minimal clutter on busy desktop replaces defunct answering system at same time providing telephone w/o the downside of a dangling handset cord. Pluses include the intercom capability and 50 number address book which can be updated from any of the 2-8 handsets. So far a good cho...
  • Cons: You can get any color you want as long as it is BLACK! Address book storage on base unit is limited to 10 speed dial numbers. Ability to assign multiple message mailboxes would be a plus. Though fair user manual could be improved. Recommend download of the online pdf.
